The Body a gift from God

Tonight when my 17 year old son and I were heading up town, we had a conversation about how girls feel about their body image.  He said this girl has a hard time because she is a little over weight.  I said ya there are  a lot of girls big or small that have a hard time with what their  body looks like.  I  then had a moment when something our Prophet Pres. Nelson said.  He said in April 2018 " My beloved brothers and sisters, I plead with you to increase your spiritual capacity to receive revelation..........Choose to do the spiritual work required to enjoy the gift of the Holy Ghost and hear the voice of the Spirit more frequently and more clearly.

 We need the influence of the Holy Ghost to help us know our body  is perfect for us.  Can we take care of it better.....YES, But guess what you need to love the body you have all the time.  Satan attacks us We are in a spiritual battle that has never before been seen in the history of the world.  Satan is trying to attack the one thing he will never  have.  A Body, if he can get us to  hate the body we so desperately wanted then he thinks he has won.  If he thinks he can get us to look down on our selves because our body is not like the person's across the street, then he has won.  

 Girls and Guys love that body Heavenly Father has given you.   Love it for all that it can and can't do.  Choose today to not let him (Satan) get you to hate your body.  Choose to LOVE your body for all that it is.  Everyday find one thing that you love about it.  Look yourself in the  eye, in the mirror and say I love you the way you are.  You deserve that.  Maybe you like your smile, Maybe you have pretty toes, maybe your eyes are what you love.  Find that one thing that you love and build on it.  Choose to love your body.

 When I was younger I was worried about getting into a bathing suit and going to a beach, I was a lot smaller than I am now.  haha  anyway one of my brother in laws told me love your body for what it is and don't worry about everybody else.  Your pretty and just remember that.  I never forgot that and always tried to remember his words. After I  had put on a bunch of weight I really would not care about going swimming, I would just say to my self....At least they don't  have to see me naked.  hahaha  So the next time you are self conscious about the way you look, think At least they won't see me naked .haha  But really Find that one thing you can love about your body. If you really struggle with finding one thing, I want you to look at yourself straight in the eyes (in a mirror) and tell yourself you love yourself.  One of the hardest things to do is look yourself in the eye.  Love yourself because guess what  you are a daughter of a King.  You are a daughter of a Heavenly Father that loves you very much.  He wants you to see what he sees in you.  Never doubt that.  When doubt comes into your mind know where that doubt comes from.  know Satan is the only one that wants you to not love yourself.  You are beautiful inside and out!

Raising kids #4- raising kids and weight loss

 How does weight loss  play into raising kids.  If you are an emotional eater raising kids plays a huge role in weight loss.  I've said it before, raising kids is a hard feat.  But raising kids is the greatest joy you will see in this life.  When your child runs up to you and is so happy to see you, that fills your  hear with so much joy!       Now back to weight loss.  Pregnancy is hard on a woman's body.  Some women can bounce back real quick  but some women like myself , their bodies do not bounce back in fact after one natural birth and 3 C-sections my body shows that it did not bounce back very well at all.  The more I lea rn about it, the more I realize that my body did not bounce back very well because of the choices I made after my babies were born.  If I would have ate healthy along with my exercise  maybe my body would have bounced back a little better.  When I was nursing my babies...

The Jack Rabbit Factor by Leslie Householder

 In the early 2000's I was introduced to the writings of Leslie Householder.  There was an author that I followed named Marnie Pehrson now her last name is Kuhns.  She is a great author and I started following her because she started a club called The Clean Romance Club.
